Indian army officer are paid according to their respectful ranks in the army.
Given Below is the structure of salary paid per month to honorable officers.

General- Rs 90,000/- 


Lieutenant General- Rs 67,000-80,000/-



Major General- Rs 37,000-67,000/-


Brigadier- Rs 37,000-67,000/-


Colonel- Rs 37,000-67,000/-



Lieutenant Colonel- Rs 37,000-67,000/-


Major- Rs 15,600-39,100/-


Captain- Rs 15,600-39,100/-


Lieutenant- Rs 15,600-39,100/-

Many perks are also given to these country-men, who serve their life's to their mother land.

  10. The information is correct. In the US sweepers also get a much better salary. Because, they live in the US. For the people who live in India, this is an attractive salary. Dont forget the attractive allowances and perks.
